I love living history museums! I was eager to explore the Farmer's Museum in Cooperstown, NY, and I was very pleased with the entire experience. I love to learn about early life in America. The docents at the Farmer's Museum were excellent. I spent 1/2 hour watching the rope maker. Audience participation was encouraged. I could have watched and listened all day, but, there was so many more buildings to visit. Here is a sampling of the village.
Impressive double silo entry
Barn and gardens
Street scene
Merry go round!
