Lisa’s past research and writings for the Historical Society remain a part of the curriculum of the Moorestown Public Schools. Now, she is eager to resume her work with the Society. She will continue a research project focusing on the early New Jersey-Philadelphia region. In particular, she will examine locale-specific material culture of the 18th and centuries. Her research is starting with William McElroy, a productive Windsor chair maker from about 1793-1840 , based in Moorestown.
